Rocket Peaks: TriPeaks Solitaire

TriPeaks solitaire with 60 levels, star goals, streak combos, an endless mode and a daily deal. Free, no account.

What is Rocket Peaks?

Rocket Peaks is our take on TriPeaks solitaire, the fast and friendly card game where you clear three peaks of cards by playing them onto a single pile. A card can go on the pile when it is one rank higher or one lower than the card on top, whatever its suit: a 7 goes on a 6 or an 8, and with wrap-around a king and an ace connect. When nothing fits, you draw the next card from the stock. Clear every card from the peaks before the stock runs out and you win.

Every card you play in a row without drawing grows your streak, and each card in a streak is worth more than the last, so the real game is spotting long chains like 5, 6, 7, 6, 5 before you touch the stock. There are 60 levels with star goals and new layouts, an endless mode, a daily deal with its own leaderboard, and classic games with optional wrap-around and solver-checked winnable deals. Tap or drag on any phone, tablet or computer; your game is saved on your device.

How to play Rocket Peaks

  1. Goal: clear every card from the peaks. Only face-up cards with nothing covering them can be played.
  2. Play a card onto the pile below the peaks if it is one rank higher or lower than the top card, in any suit. Tap it, or drag it onto the pile.
  3. When no card fits, tap the stock to turn up a new card. That ends your current streak.
  4. Face-down cards turn over once the two cards covering them are gone. Clearing a peak's top card pays a bonus, and so does every stock card left when you clear the board.
  5. Use boosters when you are stuck: a wild card that anything plays on, an undo, or five extra cards in the stock. You earn them for 3-star levels, long streaks and daily wins. Hint shows a good move: 2 per deal on levels 1 to 20, 1 on levels 21 to 45 and on classic, daily and endless deals, and none on levels 46 to 60.

Rocket Peaks tips and strategy

  • Before you play, look for the longest chain you can make from the free cards, and play it in the order that keeps going longest.
  • Prefer cards that uncover face-down cards: every new card turned over is a new chance to keep the streak alive.
  • Don't rush to the stock. Drawing ends the streak, so check every free card first, including ones that only fit with wrap-around.
  • In levels, a clean clear with stock left over is worth a lot: every unused stock card adds 100 points.

TriPeaks rules and scoring

The classic TriPeaks deal puts 28 cards into three overlapping pyramids: the bottom row of ten is face up and the rest face down. One card starts the pile and the other 23 make the stock. Suits and colours don't matter, only ranks. In Rocket Peaks each card scores 50 points times your current streak, so the tenth card in a row is worth 500. Clearing a peak's top card adds 500, and clearing the whole board adds 1,000 plus 100 for every card still in the stock.

Wrap-around, on by default, lets a king go on an ace and an ace on a king; some levels turn it off. Levels also bring other shapes: a hill, a sawtooth ridge, twin peaks, a tower, a diamond, a fortress and a great pyramid.

Levels, endless mode and the daily deal

Each of the 60 levels is a fixed deal our solver has proved can be cleared. The first five show every card face up so new players can learn the rules; later levels add face-down cards, smaller stocks and no wrap-around. One star is for clearing the board, and two and three stars for reaching score goals set from the solver's best line. Endless mode deals a new board each time you clear one, carrying your leftover stock and streak, until you run out of moves. The daily deal is one winnable deal for everyone: your first finish of the day goes on the daily leaderboard and keeps your daily streak going.

Rocket Peaks FAQ

Is Rocket Peaks free to play?

Yes. It's completely free in your browser, with no download and no account. Your game, levels, stars and boosters are saved on your device.

What are the rules of TriPeaks solitaire?

Play face-up cards from the three peaks onto the pile when they are one rank higher or lower than its top card, in any suit. When nothing fits, draw from the stock. Clear all the cards from the peaks to win.

Can a king go on an ace?

Yes, with wrap-around, which is on by default: a king plays on an ace and an ace on a king. Some levels turn it off, and you can switch it off for classic games in the settings.

Is every TriPeaks deal winnable?

No, some random deals can't be cleared. Every level and every daily deal here has been checked by our solver, and classic games can be set to winnable deals only.

How does scoring work?

Each card is worth 50 points times your streak, the number of cards played in a row without drawing. Clearing a peak's top card adds 500, and clearing the board adds 1,000 plus 100 for each card left in the stock.

How do I get boosters?

You earn wild cards, undos and extra draws by playing: for three stars on a level, for 10- and 20-card streaks, for winning the daily deal and for every three boards in endless mode. They are never sold.

How does the daily deal work?

Everyone gets the same winnable deal each day. Your first finish counts for the daily leaderboard and your daily streak; you can replay it for fun afterwards.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes. Tap a card to play it or drag it to the pile. Turning your phone sideways or tapping Full screen gives the cards the whole screen.
