Prism Pop: Free Bubble Shooter Online
A glowing bubble shooter: aim, bank off the walls, match three to pop and drop whole clusters. 60 levels with stars, Endless, a daily puzzle and versus against the computer, a friend or a player online.
What is Prism Pop?
Prism Pop is a free bubble shooter you can play in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer, with no download and no account. Glowing bubbles hang from the ceiling. Aim the launcher, fire, and your bubble sticks where it touches. Make a group of three or more of one colour and it pops; anything left hanging with nothing above it falls, and falling bubbles are where the big scores are.
Shots bounce off the side walls, and the dotted aim guide shows exactly where your bubble will land, bank shots included, so it is about planning rather than guessing. Play a 60-level campaign with star ratings, an Endless mode that keeps pushing new rows in, a daily puzzle with limited shots, and head-to-head versus.
How to play Prism Pop
- Aim: drag on the board, move the mouse, or hold the left and right arrow keys (add Shift for fine aim). The dotted line and the ghost bubble show where your shot will stick.
- Fire: let go, click, or press Space. Drag back below the launcher before letting go to cancel.
- Pop: three or more touching bubbles of one colour pop, and every bubble no longer connected to the ceiling falls for bonus points.
- Swap: tap the small bubble beside the launcher, right-click or press X to swap it with the one ready to fire.
- Watch the line: the ceiling comes down every few shots in the campaign, and new rows push in during Endless and Versus. A bubble past the dashed line ends the game.
- Earn specials: popping fills the gold meter round the launcher. A full meter gives a Bomb, a Rainbow that matches any colour, or Lightning that zaps a whole row.
Prism Pop tips and strategy
- Aim for the bubbles holding a cluster up. Popping three near the top can drop twenty below them.
- Use the walls: a bank shot reaches gaps a straight shot can't, and earns a bonus when it pops.
- Swap a colour you can't use, or park it next to its own colour to set up a later pop.
- Keep the middle low: the stack usually grows fastest under the launcher.
- Stones never pop. Knock out what holds them up, or blast them with a Bomb.
Bubble shooter modes
The campaign has 60 levels, from three-colour warm-ups to six-colour boards full of stones, pillars and hanging shapes. Clear a level in par shots for three stars; your total goes on the leaderboard. Endless gets faster as your score climbs, adds colours and stones, and pays a bonus whenever you wipe the board clean.
The daily puzzle gives everyone the same board and the same bubbles each day, with a fixed number of shots. Clear it in as few as you can to top today's board and keep your streak going.
Two player bubble shooter: versus and online
Versus puts two boards side by side and both players shoot at once. A new row pushes in every ten shots, and big pops with drops send garbage that hangs under the other player's stack. Play the computer at Easy, Medium, Hard or Insane: Easy aims straight and a little wobbly, while Insane banks off both walls and plans a bubble ahead.
Play a friend on the same screen, or online: quick match, or invite a friend with a link or code, then ask for a rematch. Online wins count on the leaderboard.
Prism Pop FAQ
Is Prism Pop free to play?
Yes. Prism Pop is a completely free bubble shooter in your browser, with no download and no account needed. A free account puts your scores, stars and wins on the leaderboards.
How do you play a bubble shooter?
Aim the launcher and fire a coloured bubble into the grid at the top. It sticks where it touches. Three or more of the same colour touching each other pop, and anything left hanging without a connection to the ceiling falls. Clear the board before the bubbles reach the line near the bottom.
Can I play bubble shooter with a friend?
Yes. Versus has a same-screen mode for two players on one keyboard or one touch screen, and an online mode with quick match or a private game by link or code. You can also play versus against the computer at four levels.
What is a bank shot?
A shot that bounces off a side wall before it lands. The aim guide follows the bounces, so you can see exactly where a bank shot will stick. Bank shots that pop earn a bonus.
What do the special bubbles do?
Fill the gold meter by popping and dropping bubbles to earn one. The Bomb blasts everything within two bubbles of where it lands, stones included. The Rainbow matches any colour it touches. Lightning clears the whole row it strikes, and the row it lands in.
What are the grey stone bubbles?
Stones can't be popped by matching colours. Knock out the bubbles holding them up so they fall, or use a Bomb or Lightning on them. In versus, garbage from the other board can include stones.
How do the stars work?
Clear a level to earn at least one star. Clear it within par (the number of shots our Hard computer player needed) for three stars, or within a third more than par for two. Your total stars rank on the leaderboard.
What is the daily bubble puzzle?
One board a day, the same for every player, with a limited number of shots and the same bubbles in the same order. Clear it in as few shots as you can; the fewest shots top the day's leaderboard.
How hard is the computer in versus?
Easy fires slowly with a wobbly aim and never banks. Medium banks off one wall, Hard off both and rarely misses, and Insane is very fast, perfectly accurate and plans one bubble ahead.
Does it work on my phone and offline?
Yes. Drag to aim and let go to fire; tap the small bubble to swap. Use Full screen for the biggest board, and switch on Available offline to play without a connection.
